Apocalypse is a fun little term. Translated from the original Greek it approximates, it means "a lifting of the veil."
There's been a whole loft of "lifting of the veil" and finding old settings and procedures folks have used on my server for the last decade. The good news is things are much more in best-practices land, or as some folks around here call it, candy mountain.
Anyway, the DNS servers have been rotated and moved on who is master. Names have been shuffled so there should be no downtime. Registrars have been notified of moves and NS record entries refiled.
If you have a domain that I host, here is a time to check things. Your name servers should be NS1.CRESCENDO.NET and NS2.CRESCENDO.NET. References to dns.bears.org and ns1.grphyon.net should be removed.

Fritzie - I don't know if you saw, but I followed up to your comment. The short hand is the account name is fritzie@german-shepherd.net and the pass is the one in your account. Try it in web mail first to verify. I was able to do so. |
